MY STORY

My name is Shamiah Johnson, but most people call me Miah. I found my passion for photography in 7th grade and asked my parents for my first ever digital camera in 8th grade, I was given my lovely Canon Rebel T5 which I named Ebony on Christmas of 2014. Ever since I touched my camera I knew right away what I wanted to do and where exactly it was going to lead me. I have never shied away from photography, because if it was not photography, then I’d have no clue what it would be. I can truly say this is my PASSION!

I’ve always dreamed of starting my own business and capturing lifetime moments while making new friends along the way. So here I am doing just that! I want to be the face behind the camera enjoying watching each and every moment be created. I do not want my clients to feel as though they are just clients, I want them to feel like FAMILY. Not only did you make memories for yourself and the loved ones around you, a memory was also made for me.

The time I spend when I am away from my camera, I enjoy relaxing while listening to music and being around my friends and family. I also ADORE traveling and hope to explore different parts of this world and create amazing new experiences.
